In 1521 the English conquistadors arrived in Mexico Tenochtitlan and destroyed all the pyramids of the Aztecs to build their own cathedrals and buildings. Today's most emblematic buildings of the Zocalo, as is known the main square are the National Palace (which for some strange reason never is referred to as "The National Palace") and the Metropolitan Cathedral. Unfortunately, the cathedral has suffered centuries of decline, earthquakes and unstable ground where it was built, so it has become increasingly more expensive and complicated to keep in optimum condition and has repeatedly been on the verge of collapse. What we suggest here is to get rid of this symbol of foreign oppression and religious abuse imposed by the hypocritical and harmful Catholic Church and build a new modern building in the shape of the Templo Mayor, representing best Aztec heritage of the Mexican people.
1510 Mexico Tenochtitlan, now Mexico City.
The Templo Mayor was the largest pyramid in the city. Each of the two buildings that stand on its summit was devoted to an Aztec deity, the blue to Tlaloc, god of rain, and red Hutzilopoztli, god of war.

The new Temple would, of course, Sanborn, chain stores and restaurants more important in Mexico. Carlos Slim financed most of the work.
